DeliSoil – Stakeholder analysis survey

DeliSoil – Stakeholder analysis survey

The survey aims to evaluate the practices, behaviours, and opinions of key stakeholders to identify their interests, challenges, and expectations. It focuses on assessing consumer and farmer acceptance of soil improvers, identifying best practices for social engagement with soil products made from food industry side stream, and exploring stakeholders’ social activities. Additionally, the survey seeks to uncover barriers to acceptance and gather suggestions for overcoming them, while also identifying strategies to enhance stakeholder engagement.

All the questions refer to the respondent’s region.
The survey is anonymous. No personal data or email addresses are collected.

Terms used in the survey:

  • A “food industry side stream” refers to the by-products or secondary outputs that result from the processing of primary food products. These side streams are often generated during the production, preparation, or processing of food and can include materials like vegetable peels, fruit pulp, fish trimmings, grape and olive pomace from wine and oil production, residues from meat and dairy production, etc.
  • A “soil amendment” is an organic material incorporated into the soil to enhance its physical attributes, including its structure, porosity, water-holding capability, and drainage.
  • A “fertilising product” is a substance or material added to soil or plants to provide essential nutrients that promote growth and improve the health of plants. These products can include organic materials like compost and manure, as well as synthetic compounds such as chemical fertilisers.
